About Celveri

Celveri is a collection of free online tools for everyday digital tasks.

What Celveri is

Celveri is a small, independent website offering free tools for common image and text tasks: compressing a photo to fit an upload limit, resizing or cropping a picture, converting between image formats, counting words and characters, and tidying up text.

The site is new. It is being built in phases, starting with the shared foundation and then a handful of tools, rather than launching with a long catalogue of half-finished pages.

How we decide what to build

A tool earns a place on Celveri if it solves a specific, ordinary problem well. Before a tool is published it has to:

  • do the job it claims to do, with no fake or dead controls;
  • handle awkward input sensibly, including unsupported formats, very large files and empty fields;
  • show clear loading, empty, success and error states rather than failing silently;
  • work on a phone as well as a desktop browser;
  • be usable with a keyboard and with a screen reader.

Until a tool meets that bar it stays on the roadmap and has no page on the site.

Processing in your browser

Celveri’s image and text tools are being built to run in your browser using standard web APIs, so that files do not need to be sent to a server. Each tool page will describe exactly how that tool handles your data, including any limits. We will not make general claims about privacy or security that we cannot point to in the code.

How Celveri is funded

Celveri is free to use and currently has no revenue. There is no advertising, no payment system and no subscription on the site. If that changes, it will be stated plainly here and in the Privacy Policy before it takes effect.

Who runs Celveri

Celveri is operated by Afnan Devs.
